چکیده
Terpenes and terpenoids contribute aroma flavor that influence consumer preferences in selecting plant-based products. Computational identification of biosynthetic gene clusters (BGCs) plants can pave the way for future genetic engineering. Using integrative genomic, transcriptomic, metabolic pathway annotation analyses, 35 BGCs were identified tobacco with high confidence. Among identified, 7 classified as terpene biosynthesis-related BGCs. Two found on C13 C14 chromosomes belonged to saccharide-terpene classes only 93 Mb 189 Kb apart, respectively. Other have lengths ranging from 120 (Cluster 9) 1.6 18). Each cluster contained five 21) twenty genes 32), number synthase present also varied one (Clusters 18 eight 32). Gene expression profiling using diurnal topping transcriptome datasets co-expressing within modules varying levels among represented by normalized enrichment score measured each module. The positions pinpointed these computational analyses will allow more efficient modifications specific development tobacco-based products improved flavor.

Identification of hypertension-related genes through an integrated genomic-transcriptomic approach.
In search for the genetic basis of hypertension, we applied an integrated genomic-transcriptomic approach to identify genes involved in the pathogenesis of hypertension in the Sabra rat model of salt-susceptibility. In the genomic arm of the project, we previously detected in male rats two salt-susceptibility QTLs on chromosome 1, SS1a (D1Mgh2-D1Mit11; span 43.1 cM) and SS1b (D1Mit11-D1Mit4; sp...

متن کاملGenomic analyses of bacterial porin-cytochrome gene clusters
The porin-cytochrome (Pcc) protein complex is responsible for trans-outer membrane electron transfer during extracellular reduction of Fe(III) by the dissimilatory metal-reducing bacterium Geobacter sulfurreducens PCA. The identified and characterized Pcc complex of G. sulfurreducens PCA consists of a porin-like outer-membrane protein, a periplasmic 8-heme c-type cytochrome (c-Cyt) and an outer...

متن کاملIdentification and Characterization of Mycemycin Biosynthetic Gene Clusters in Streptomyces olivaceus FXJ8.012 and Streptomyces sp. FXJ1.235
Mycemycins A-E are new members of the dibenzoxazepinone (DBP) family, derived from the gntR gene-disrupted deep sea strain Streptomyces olivaceus FXJ8.012Δ1741 and the soil strain Streptomyces sp. FXJ1.235. In this paper, we report the identification of the gene clusters and pathways' inference for mycemycin biosynthesis in the two strains. Bioinformatics analyses of the genome sequences of S. ...
